ZUS Gift Card Terms & Conditions


  1. ZUS Gift Card
    1. ZUS Gift Card may be used vide ZUS Coffee’s mobile application.
    2. You may purchase and send virtual ZUS Gift Card to anyone via email or mobile number.
    3. You are able to personalize ZUS Gift Card with a message, choose a design and dollar value (with certain limits).
    4. ZUS Coffee does not charge any fees for the issuance and use of ZUS Gift Card.
  2. Purchase
    1. You can complete your purchase using a credit card, debit card, e-wallet or certain other electronic payment methods and you authorise ZUS Coffee to charge your choice of payment method at the time of your purchase ZUS Gift Card.
    2. Upon your successful payment, the electronic ZUS Gift Card will be delivered to the recipient on the same day. 
    3. ZUS Gift Card is a pre-payment only for the goods and services of ZUS Coffee vide ZUS Coffee’s mobile application. Therefore, ZUS Gift Card is not a credit line, overdraft facility or deposit account and the monetary value associated with ZUS Gift Card does not earn interest, dividends or any other earnings nor is there any statutory protection relating to it. The value associated with ZUS Gift Card is not insured or guaranteed by any person or entity.
  3. Redemption
    1. The recipient must redeem ZUS Gift Card within one (1) year from the date of purchase. 
    2. The use of ZUS Gift Card will be subject to ZUS Coffee’s Terms of Use including the location of the recipient where delivery may or may not be available.
    3. ZUS Gift Card and its unused balance cannot be exchanged for cash.
  4. Cancellation, Refunds & Expiry Date
    1. You may cancel your purchase at any time prior to your payment. After your payment, no refunds are permitted for ZUS Gift Card and you may not change the recipient. 
    2. (a) ZUS Gift Card will expire when it is not redeemed by the recipient within one (1) year from the date of purchase (“Redemption Period”); and
      (b)
      Subject to ZUS Gift Card having been redeemed during the Redemption Period, the balance in ZUS Gift Card shall expire in one (1) year from the date of last redemption of any ZUS Gift Card within the Redemption Period of the relevant and respective ZUS Gift Card, if any. 
    3. Upon the expiry of ZUS Gift Card, ZUS Gift Card and its balance remaining will not be valid for any use and be automatically forfeited and cannot be refunded to you or the recipient.

Solely for illustration purposes:- 

  • the recipient receives 3 ZUS Gift Cards on different dates; 
  • the recipient redeems the 3 ZUS Gift Cards on different dates within the respective ZUS Gift Cards’ Redemption Period; 
  • the expiry date for Gift Card A and Gift Card B will follow the latest redemption which is from the date of the recipient’s redemption of Gift Card C:-

  1. Delivery
    1. Upon your successful payment, ZUS Gift Card shall be delivered to the recipient which the recipient may use upon redemption within the Redemption Period. ZUS Coffee is not responsible for any lost or stolen ZUS Gift Cards.
    2. If you fail to enter an accurate email address or mobile number for the recipient, then ZUS Coffee is not responsible for any undeliverable or erroneous delivery (i.e. sent to wrong person) of ZUS Gift Card. Please contact the Customer Happiness Team if you suspect the recipient did not receive ZUS Gift Card. 
  2. Reservation of Rights
    1. ZUS Coffee reserves the rights not to accept any ZUS Gift Card or otherwise limit the use of ZUS Gift Card if ZUS Coffee reasonably believe that ZUS Gift Card or the use or the manner it was procured is unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.
    2. The terms and conditions may be revised by ZUS Coffee from time to time where such revisions will be effective when they are posted on ZUS Coffee’s website. 
  3. Limitation of Liability
    1. Subject always to applicable consumer protection laws and to the maximum extent permitted by law, ZUS Coffee will not be liable for claims or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with your purchase of ZUS Gift Card and the use of it by the recipient. This applies to all damages of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
  4. Complains or Enquiries (Customer Happiness Team)
    1.  ZUS Coffee reserves the right to correct the recipient’s Gift Card amount and your payment if ZUS Coffee believes that a technical, clerical, billing or accounting error has occurred. If you have any questions regarding the transaction history or any correction, or if you dispute any transaction or correction that has been assessed against your ZUS Gift Card, please contact our Customer Happiness Team by email at support@zuscoffee.com and ZUS Coffee will conduct an investigation, communicate the results and correct any proven error as soon as ZUS Coffee complete the investigation.
